How easy is it to forget at least that one happy thing every day in your life? I stopped posting for 2 weeks and it is amazing how easy it is to forget that being happy is really up to you to make it happen. So.. back at it again :)
THIS—finishing taxes made me SO happy today. I’ve been at it for awhile now but now everything is figured out, I am satisfied and things are ready to be sent off : ) another one off the list!
Today was one of those days you really needed to appreciate the little things. Patience is something I do not have a lot of but I am getting there.. THANK GOD FOR CHOCOLATES. You bet your ass I ate two bars by myself..
Currently reading “Eleanor and Park” right now, not yet finished but reading this book REALLY makes my day. I couldn’t stop giggling about it on the go train. It’s a modern version of angsty teenage love but very very entertaining to read.
PICTURE TO BE UPLOADED WHEN MY COMPUTER WORKS : (
My mom got a new gig so she’s back to the 12-9 grind. That means.. back to laundry, cooking and taking the bus home by myself. It’s actually a nice change since I feel like I’ve been really spoiled lately.. Made chicken wings and broccoli last night. I guess the culinary skills never really go away :p
Fo Guang San 2014 – Chinese School
One of the best things about my week is volunteering with the kindergarden kids at Chinese school on Sundays. They are a handful but oh so very cute : )
Bahama 2014: Lynden Pindling International Airport
As much as I have loved travelling to the beautiful Caribbeans for work, I was so glad to be going home :D Being out for 2 weeks in Taiwan for vacation and then heading immediately down to Cayman feels made me feel like I haven’t been home in forever.
On a side note, we saw our awesomeeee client at the airport, now THAT made me really happy too ;)
Bahamas 2014 – Cafe Matisse
Last night in Bahamas with my co worker. What an amazing trip this has been.. I am so glad and grateful to have had this experience. The wonderful Caribbean culture, the weather but most of all, the people made this work trip feel both fun and rewarding :D
PS.. can you tell how dark I have gotten?
